Monday June 29th

Well I hope you all had an outstanding weekend. I sure did =) I found that IRIS Simulations/ Audioworx has released their new sound package for their upcoming release of the F-16D. I hope this means the release of the Fighting Falcon is nearing. Also hope its not as frame intensive as the Aerosoft F-16A/C.

"The IRIS AudioworX F-16 sound-pack for FSX is our very first sound-pack release for Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

Designed and developed for the upcoming IRIS Pro Series F-16D, this product has been tested in various other freeware and commercial military jets including the Aerosoft F-16.

This product features all new sounds recorded from the interior and exterior of the Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon, along with custom sounds for the VMS or Bitching Betty which have been developed for incorporation with the GPWS and various other warning sounds such as over-speed warnings and stall warnings.

All in all, we are very happy with the end result of this product and we are confident that you will enjoy the new audio experience that this sound-pack brings to your favourite military aircraft, be it the F-16 Fighting Falcon or any other single engine military jet!

Grab it from the IRIS Store today!"

Browsing through the simviation forums I came upon an interesting new concept for FSX called FSW or FSWeapons which is being developed as we speak. For more information on this product you can check it out HERE.
